Kabul: The Taliban has ordered women to stay home if they do not have important work outside.
Afghanistan has been imposing tougher rules on women since the Taliban captured it. In this case, the Taliban has ordered women in public places to wear a burqa that is completely covered from head to toe.
The Taliban’s top leader, Hibatullah Akundzada, said in a statement:
All women are required to wear a head-to-toe veil in public. It is traditional and respectable.
According to Sharia instructions, women who are not very old or young should cover their face except their eyes to avoid unnecessary anger when meeting teenagers. Stay home if women do not have important work outside.
