Apple, Meta and Discord have provided hackers with users’ addresses, phone numbers and IP addresses.
According to a popular news agency, Apple, Meta and Discord have leaked data about their users to hackers.
All the above 3 companies have given the customer’s address, phone number and IP address as the hackers asked for the data claiming to be superiors.
Those companies that have commented on this, in due course the authorities will ask for data with a warrant or a signed letter. But a court order is not required when it comes to an emergency.
Data can be obtained directly from tech companies. It has been reported that hackers used this to obtain user data.
It is alleged that the perpetrators of the crime were young people known to hack. It is alleged that such errors do occur even though the companies follow the rules that the authorities have to approach the concerned authorities and make sure when requesting such data in case of emergency.
