Recharging FASTag using Google Pay is very easy. To recharge FASTag from Google Pay Processor, you need to use the Google Pay FASTag Account, which will be integrated with the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
FASTag is an electronic toll collection system operated by the National Highways Authority of India. It operates on radio frequency identification technology so that toll can be easily paid at the toll block.
To recharge your FASTag account with Google Pay, you need to combine the two. First, you need to go to the “Bill Payments” section of the Google Pay app. Here you will find the option to recharge FASTag. After this, to recharge FASTag, you need to select any of the bank accounts in your Google Pay processor.
How to pay FASTag account with Google Pay
STEP 1: First, connect the FASTag account
STEP 2: Open the Google Pay app (Google Pay app) on your Android or iPhone.
STEP 3: Now click on the new charge button.
STEP 4: After this, select “FASTag” in the search bar.
STEP 5: Select the bank that offers your FASTag.
STEP 6: Now click on ‘Start’.
STEP 7: Now, you need to enter your vehicle number and name the account. For example, you could use “My Car” or the name of your car model.
STEP 8: Now click on the Connect Account button at the bottom of the screen.
STEP 9: After this, you will need to review your account, which will include the account holder’s name and vehicle number.
STEP 10: After reviewing, click on the Connect Account button. Tap the Pay button now to pay at least Rs.200.
STEP 11: Now click on the tick.
STEP 12: Then proceed on the Pay at the bottom of the screen.
STEP 13: Now, Google Pay Apps will ask you to enter your UPI PIN. After entering and verifying it, your fee will be paid.
STEP 14: After payment, you will receive an SMS message from the bank account linked to Google Pay.
