Prime Minister Narendra Modi held consultations with various departmental secretaries of the central government. National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, KK Mishra and Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba were also present.
At the time, the Prime Minister urged the authorities to adopt a new perspective to carry out major development projects.
In this situation, the free programs announced in various states, including the state where the assembly elections took place, are not economically viable. Officials expressed concern that the economic crisis in our country could be as serious as it was in Sri Lanka through these projects.
It has been argued that many of the schemes of the states are not economically viable and they can take India towards an economic doom.
