- There will be two sections in the written exam of the KSP Police constable exam.
- The Descriptive paper has three sections, Essay, Precise, and translation.
- The Multiple Choice questions will have questions of general awareness, current affairs, general science, and the history of Karnataka.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 of the marks of the questions in multiple-choice questions.
- The exam will be for 90 minutes, i..e, 1 hour and 30 minutes.

KSP: Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Applicants are should need to complete the physical endurance test as of following;

The Karnataka State Police Constable exam likely to conduct in three phases of written exam, Physical Standard & Efficiency test and a medical test.
The written test is conducted for 90 minutes divided into two sections such as
Section I is a descriptive test of 50 Marks for Essay, Translation of sentences, and Precis
Section II is an objective test of 100 Marks and it consists of topics such as Indian History, General Knowledge, Geography, Fundamental Rights, Mental Ability, General Awareness, Indian Independence Movement.

- The test shall consist of multiple-choice questions.
- The language of the exam shall be 100 marks.
