President Putin said, Russia will continue military operations in Ukraine until goals ‘completed’

Russian President Vladimir Putin made a big statement about the military operation during a visit to the Vostochny Space Launch Center in the Russian Far East.

Russia Ukraine War, Moscow/Kiev: Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia will continue military operations in Ukraine as long as its objective does not get completed. Putin said the campaign was going according to plan. He said it was not moving fast because Russia wanted to minimize the damage.

Putin said during a visit to the Vostochny Space Launch Center in Russia’s Far East, the military operation will continue until it is completed and the set goals are achieved.

According to Western officials, on February 24, Russia attacked Kyiv with the goals of capturing Kiev, toppling the government and establishing an environment conducive to Moscow. After six weeks, Russia’s ground campaign came to a standstill and its forces suffered losses.

Putin insisted on Tuesday that his military action was aimed at protecting the people of eastern Ukraine controlled by Moscow-backed rebels and ensuring Russia’s own security.
