The paper leaked by the Uttar Pradesh Board will now be held on April 13. According to an official update, the exam will be conducted on April 13 from 8.00 AM in the first shift of the morning. Below you can see the excerpt of the official notice.
It is worth noting that the question papers of the series 316 ED and 316 EI of the Intermediate English examination to be held in the second shift in Ballia were leaked this morning. These papers were being sold in the market for Rs.300 to 500.
Exams canceled in these districts
Agra, Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Sitapur, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Jalaun, Chitrakoot, Ambedkar Nagar, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Varanasi, Kanpur Dehat, Etah, Shamli.
As soon as the matter came to the notice, the paper was canceled in 24 districts. Vinay Kumar Pandey, director of the Board of Secondary Education, has issued an order to cancel the examination.
After the paper leak, the local administration has started investigation. Along with this, the police department has also started investigation. From where the paper leak happened, it will also be investigated at the departmental level.
The Yogi government had taken the paper leak episode very seriously after the TET exam was leaked in the last tenure. This is the reason why the investigation of the UP Board English paper leak has been handed over to the Uttar Pradesh STF.
