Kawasaki has launched the updated 2022 variant of its Ninja 400 bike in the Indian market. The Japanese bike maker has launched this powerful bike with a 399cc parallel-twin engine that meets Euro BS6 standards.
This bike has been given a very attractive design with dual-tone paintwork and new graphics. This bike is very much liked in the country.
How is the look of the bike?
The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 gets a sleek design with Kawasaki Racing Team design, 14-litre muscular fuel tank, twin LED headlights and clip-on handlebars.
It also gets split-type seats, upswept exhaust system and tapered tail section with LED taillamps.
Notably, the bike has a semi-digital instrument cluster and comes with 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with a green pinstripe.
The bike has come with a powerful 399cc engine
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that meets BS6 standards.
For transmission, it is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch. This engine generates maximum power of 44.3hp and peak torque of 37Nm.
According to the company, this bike can cover a distance of 15 km in one liter of petrol and can run at a top speed of 195 kmph.
These safety features are given in the bike
Keeping in mind the safety of the driver, the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 400 has been fitted with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Along with this, combine braking system and anti-lock braking system (ABS) have also been given in it. The company has also included many riding aids in it.
To make the suspension comfortable, the motorcycle gets 41mm telescopic forks at the front and a pre-load adjustable mono-shock unit at the rear.
What is its price?
Kawasaki has launched its 2022 Ninja 400 in India at a price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, this bike competes with Bajaj Dominar 400.
Only last month, Kawasaki Ninja 300 was launched in the country in a new avatar, which includes updated body graphics along with some cosmetic updates.
Apart from this, it has also been made available in three new color options of Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony.
It is worth noting that the Ninja 300 was brought to India in March last year, after which this was the first update in this model.
