The country’s leading automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is about to launch the N variant of its Scorpio on the 27th of this month.
The company has now released a new teaser of this car, from which information about the cabin features of the much-awaited SUV has been revealed.
The car’s dashboard and upholstery will get dual-tone treatment along with a 3D Sony sound system.
How will the car look?
Talking about the design, the new Mahindra Scorpio-N has been given a boxy look, with a redesigned grille with vertical slats, muscular bonnet, LEDs with bumper-mounted DRLs and a large air dam.
Roof rails, ORVMs and multi-spoke alloy wheels are available on the sides of the car. At the same time, twin-LED headlamps and fog lamps will be available in the car for lighting. Dimension wise, this SUV will be slightly bigger than the current model.
This information has been received about the engine of the car
Mahindra will launch this car in petrol and diesel engine options. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre m-stallion petrol engine that generates 152hp power and 320Nm torque.
Second, it will also get the option of a 2.2-litre m-Hawk diesel engine that generates 130hp power and 320Nm torque. For transmission, it will get a 6-speed manual gearbox and will be controlled by an all-wheel (4X4) drive system.
These new features were included in the cabin
Talking about the features, on the inside, Mahindra Scorpio N will get a six or seven seater cabin with dual-tone dashboard, premium leather upholstery, vertical AC vents, automatic climate control and a multifunctional steering wheel.
For entertainment, it will get a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 3D Sony sound system and an 8.0-inch infotainment panel that will also support Amazon Alexa. For the safety of the passengers, it will get many features like airbags and parking cameras.
New Scorpio will be launched at this price
The 2022 Scorpio-N price and availability in India will be revealed by Mahindra during the launch event on June 27. However, it is likely to be priced slightly higher than the current model, which is available at ₹ 13.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
