Mahindra XUV700 Awarded as India’s Safest Passenger Vehicle

The car has been awarded the Global NCAP ‘Safer Choice’ title for being a Global NCAP ‘Safer Choice’. The Mahindra XUV700 has received the highest safety rating of any car tested in Global NCAP’s #SaferCarsForIndia campaign, the company said in a statement.

The news has been confirmed on the official Twitter handle of Mahindra XUV700. He wrote in the tweet,”When you put safety at the fore, safety also puts you at the fore! This is the second time a Mahindra vehicle has received this award. We are the Global NCAP to recognize us as ‘Safer Choice’ 2022 Grateful to.

The company further said that the XUV700 has received a global NCAP rating of five stars for adult occupant protection. Apart from this, a four-star rating has been received for child occupant protection. Mahindra has won this award twice. Earlier Mahindra XUV300 received this award in 2020.

Let us know that the XUV700 is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These include forward collision warning, autonomous emergency brake using camera and radar, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and smart pilot assist.

It also gets seven airbags including driver oncoming sleep detection, auto booster headlamps, curtain airbags. These airbangs also provide safety to the passengers sitting in the third row.

Apart from this, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) are also in this vehicle.
