Mumbai: Veteran automaker Hyundai is currently working on the facelift variant of its Creta SUV. Currently, the company is preparing for the launch of the fourth generation Tucson SUV and it will be launched in the Indian market on August 4.
According to the reports, the new Creta will be launched after Tucson. The company is about to launch four vehicles in India including its Kona Electric. Come, know what information has been received about this car.
The new Creta is based on the ‘Sensious Sportiness’ design language
The upcoming Hyundai Creta has been built on the basis of the company’s ‘Sensious Sportiness’ design language.
The car can get new LED headlamps with ‘parametric jewel’ grille, redesigned front bumper, a muscular bonnet, designer air dam, roof rails and updated alloy wheels.
The roof mounted spoiler, faux skid plate and boomerang shaped LED taillights have been given at the rear of the car which gives the car a great look.
Will knock in the option of petrol and diesel engines
The new Hyundai Creta can be launched with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates power of 115hp and torque of 144Nm.
At the same time, its 1.5-litre diesel engine generates 115hp power and 250Nm torque and its 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 140hp power and 242Nm torque.
Keeping in mind the transmission, 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic and 7-speed DCT gearbox can be given.
The car will be equipped with these features
The facelifted Hyundai Creta is expected to get a larger cabin, which is likely to get ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVMs, ambient lighting, leather upholstery and a multifunctional steering wheel.
The cabin of the car could also feature a 7.0-inch instrument console, 8-speaker Bose sound system and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display supporting the latest connectivity options.
For safety, the vehicle can get ADAS with multiple airbags and 360-degree-view camera.
The car will knock at this price
The new Hyundai Creta will be priced at a slight premium over the current model, with prices starting at Rs 10.16 lakh (ex-showroom). After launch, this car can give tough competition to Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushak, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Aster .
Talking about the design of the new generation Tucson , it has been given a muscular hood, chrome grille, LED headlights with daytime running lights (DRLs) and air dam.
It has a 2.0-litre petrol engine that meets the first BS6 standards. At the same time, the option of 2.0-liter diesel engine will also be available in it.
The car gets a large 5-seater cabin with a sunroof, Advanced Driving Assessment System (ADAS) and a multifunctional steering wheel with cruise control.
