German automaker Skoda has launched its mid-size SUV Skoda Kushaq in the new Active NSR variant. In the segment, it has been placed above the entry-level Active trim.
According to the information, the company has brought this variant of the car with 1.0 liter TSI petrol engine.
Other features are similar to the current model. However, the company has removed the paranomic sunroof in it. Let us know that this will be an affordable model of the SUV.
How is the look of the car?
Talking about the design, the new Kushaq Active NSR trim gets a muscular bonnet, chrome-enclosed butterfly grille, wide air dam, dual-pod halogen headlights, black plastic skid plate and fog lights.
It gets side roof rails, blacked-out pillars, indicator-mounted ORVMs, black cladding on the doors and wheel arches and 16-inch steel wheels.
Wrap-around LED taillights and a shark-fin antenna have been given at the rear of the SUV which gives it a strong look.
Got this information about the powertrain
Talking about the powertrain, it has been given a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine that is capable of generating 114bhp power and 178Nm peak torque.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox to make the transmission simple.
Keeping in mind the safety of the passengers, safety features like multiple airbags , parking camera, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and EBD have been provided in it.
The cabin is equipped with these features
The Skoda Kushaq Active NSR gets a spacious and comfortable 5-seater cabin with all-black dashboard and fabric upholstery, semi-digital instrument cluster and multifunctional steering wheel.
The company has removed the sunroof from these new trims, but you can get it installed later.
Along with this, dual tone paint theme can also be given on the graphics of its seats, dashboard, center console and instrument cluster.

Skoda Kushaq price in India starts from Rs.9.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, the new variant has been launched for Rs 15.07 lakh. Bookings are being accepted through the company’s dealerships available across the country.
Last month, Skoda launched the Monte Carlo edition of its mid-size Kushaq SUV . It gets a lot of changes including dual-tone interiors and a fully digital instrument cluster.
It is powered by a 4-cylinder 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine that generates 148bhp and 250Nm. The cabin gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with ambient lighting and Skoda Play apps in red theme.
