Tata Motors has announced the launch of its long-range Nexon EV electric car, the Tata Nexon EV Max. This electric car is scheduled to be launched on May 11, 2022.
The teaser released by the company reveals that many of the best features like travel control, ventilation seats, Park Mode, Air Purifier, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) can be given in the long distance variant of the Tata Nexan EV.
The new Nexon EV Max comes with a larger battery pack and new features. Bookings for this new car have begun.
The Tata Nexon EV Max variant car, which comes with a 40kWh battery pack, is more powerful than its current model (Nexon EV). The current car is equipped with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
According to Tata Motors, the battery can go up to 312 km on a full charge.
But the more powerful new long-distance model is expected to go up to about 400 km on a single charge.
What will be special about the Tata Nexon EV Max?
Tata Motors will make some changes to Nexon’s EV plan to accommodate the larger battery pack. Also, the footing area is expected to be less.
The electric motor can provide high power and torque output. The Tata Nexan EV Max is expected to come with a more powerful 6.6kW AC charger.
Its current model comes with a 3.3kW AC charger, which takes about 10 hours to fully charge the battery. You can also buy a 6.6kW AC charger if needed. For this, you may have to pay more than the price on the vehicle.
The Tata Nexon EV Max is only offered for select regions. Apart from this, regenerative braking support can also be provided in the car.
Tata Motors’ new long-range Nexan EV may have more features and new features than the current model.
It is expected to get better features like Cruise Control, Ventilation Seats, Park Mode, Air Purifier, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and many more. Rear disc brakes are likely to be available on the new model.

Tata Nexon EV Max Price?
The standard Nexon EV ranges from Rs 14.54 lakh to Rs 17.15 lakh. With the new features and bigger battery, the Nexon EV Max will be priced at around Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh more than the standard top-end variant. Its showroom price is expected to be around Rs 20 lakh.
The much awaited Nexan electric car will be on Indian roads in a few days.
