HDFC Bank Plans 6000 New Branches in Next 3 Years

HDFC, India's leading private sector bank, has set a target of opening about 6,000 branches.

In this regard, the CEO of HDFC Bank Srinivasan says, We are on our way to our destination. With 730 new branches opening last year, it is expected to open about 1500 to 2000 branches every year for the next 3 years.

Accordingly, they have stated that their ambition is to open 6000 new branches in the next 3 years. It is noteworthy that this will create employment opportunities for many.

Accordingly, he said the target is to start 2000 new branches every year.

He further said that the branch growth is aimed at meeting the growing demand for credit and increasing the collection of deposits, for which it has decided to open more branches, which is set to achieve this target in the next 3 years.

With 730 new branches opened last year, it is planned to open 1,500 to 2,000 branches every year for the next three years.

According to the Reserve Bank of India, most of HDFC’s banks are going digital, and HDFC Bank is providing digital services not only in cities but also in rural areas.
