JEE Main 2022 Answer key released for first session exam Download Here

This answer key is for the first session exam held from 23rd June to 29th June. Students who appeared in this exam can download the answer key by visiting the official website of JEE Main .

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the answer key of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2022 to be conducted for admission to Indian Institute of Technology ( IIT ) and other engineering colleges.

This answer key is for the first session exam held from 23rd June to 29th June. Students who appeared in this exam can download the answer key by visiting the official website of JEE Main .

Students can file objection till 5 pm on July 4

After checking the provisional answer key i.e. provisional answer key, if the student feels that the answer to any question stated by the examination agency is wrong, then he can register his objection by visiting the official website of JEE Main till 5 PM on 4th July.

Candidates will have to deposit the objection fee of Rs 200 per question to raise the objection.

How many marks questions were asked in JEE Main?

300 questions of multiple choice type were asked in this computer based test and each section was of 100 marks.

A total of 75 questions were asked in this exam from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry which the students had to solve in three hours.

Explain that students will be given four marks for each correct answer, while there is a provision of deducting one mark for each wrong answer.

Note this before downloading the answer key

The candidates appearing for the JEE Main exam will need their name, mobile number and official e-mail ID to download the answer key. Through these only students will be able to get the PDF file of their answer key.

How to Download Answer Key

  • Firstly candidates visit the official website www.jeemain.nta.nic.in .
  • After that click on the link related to answer key of JEE Main session 1 appearing on the home page.
  • Now you will come to a new page. Login here by entering the requested information.
  • Now your answer key will be displayed in the form of PDF on the front screen.
  • Check it and download it and take a print out of it for further need.

If you are not satisfied with the exam result, you can apply again

Students who are not satisfied with their exam results can re-apply for the second session (July) of JEE Main . However, for this they will have to pay an additional application fee.

NTA had recently said in the notification issued for the students that after the results of the first session, the application window for the students will be re-opened.

Earlier, NTA had scheduled the application process for the second session from June 1 to June 30.
