Salem: Tamil Nadu Public examination for 10th and 12th class students was held last month (May). A total of 37,161 candidates from Salem district appeared for the Plus 2 general examination along with 17,500 students and 19,661 students.
In this situation, the Plus 2 general election results in Tamil Nadu were released this morning. While 9.12 lakh people have written the Plus 2 exam, 8.21 lakh have passed.
Out of 37,161 candidates who appeared for the examination in Salem district, 34,452 have passed. Of these, 15,674 students (89.57 per cent) and 18,778 students (95.51 per cent) passed.
The overall pass percentage in Salem district is 92.71. This percentage is higher than last year 2019-2020 (91.52 per cent).

It is noteworthy that at present it has passed 1.19 per cent more than that. District Education Officers Sumathi and Udayakumar lauded the teachers who worked hard for the success of the students.
