Assam has been grappling with floods for the past few days. Incessant rains and floods have left many people homeless. In such a situation, Aamir Khan from the Hindi film industry has come forward to help these people. He has donated 25 lakh rupees to help the flood victims in Assam.
Assam CM Himanta Biswasharma thanked Aamir Khan and appreciated his move. Aamir Khan’s new film Lal Singh Chaddha is going to release soon. Vishwasharma has tweeted and said that Bollywood’s veteran actor Aamir Khan has contributed Rs 25 lakh to the CM Relief Fund to help the flood victims.
So far 135 people have died in the floods. According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), five people died in Cachar district, one each in Kamrup Metro, Morigaon and Nagaon. While the news of one person missing from Cachar district has come to the fore.

According to the information received from the officials, more than 22 lakh people have been affected in Assam. In Assam, 22.21 lakh people were affected by floods in 28 districts in the past.

Meanwhile, there has been a slight improvement in the state. In such a situation, the number of affected people has come down and has come down to 21.52 lakh in 22 districts.
