Chennai: He has made many successful films focusing on biographies. In that sense, the emerging film in Kannada is ‘Arabbie’. The film is based on the life of Vishwash, an international swimmer who lost both his hands and persevered.
The film is directed by renowned Kannada director Rajkumar. The film is produced by Srivijaya Raghavendra Productions.
In this film, Annamalai, a Tamil Nadu BJP leader and former IPS officer, plays Vishwash’s swimming coach.
It is said that when director Rajkumar approached Annamalai for the film, he listened to the story of the film and agreed to act in it, receiving a salary of Rs.1.
The film crew has officially announced that the teaser of ‘Arabbie’ will be released this evening. The film crew has also posted a poster on its social networking site stating that this is a chance to see former police officer Annamalai and Para swimmer Vishwash KS on screen for the first time.
