Madhavan’s ‘Rocketry’ is coming on Amazon Prime on July 26

Now finally the makers of the film have announced its OTT release date and platform.

R Madhavan ‘s film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect hit the theaters on July 1. The film had a slow start at the box office but slowly its audience continued to grow. From film critics to Bollywood stars also praised the film.

Since then, the audience was waiting for the OTT release of the film. Now finally the makers of the film have announced its OTT release date and platform.

The film is coming on OTT on 26th July

‘Rocketry’ will premiere on Amazon Prime on July 26. Amazon Prime India shared this information on its official Twitter handle. Apart from Hindi, the film can also be seen in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

On the OTT release, Madhavan said that he is overwhelmed with the love the film has received and is excited about what achievements the film will achieve after streaming. The film has got a rating of 9.2 on IMDb.

Who is Narayanan Nambi on whom the film is made?

Rocketry is based on the life of former ISRO scientist Narayanan Nambi. Nambi was working on several ambitious projects. In 1994, he was accused of spying and was arrested. Later the CBI declared him innocent.

Narayanan then filed a case against the officials who made false allegations against him and fought a long legal battle. Madhavan plays the character of Nambi in the film.

The film has earned around Rs 11 crore 95 lakh at the box office. Shahrukh Khan and Suriya have made cameo in this film . Madhavan had told in a program that Shahrukh and Suriya did not charge any fees for their roles.

Anupam Kher cried many times after watching the film

The film depicts the mental torture Nambi suffered, his legal battles and the damage done to the field of science. Sharing a video on Tuesday, actor Anupam Kher said that he cried several times while watching the film. He also apologized to Nambi and praised the film and Madhavan.

Anupam said that the film can be viewed in two ways, one for Nambi’s illustrious life and one for his excellent filmmaking.

Madhavan will now be seen in this film

Madhavan’s next film after ‘Rocketry’ has been announced. His film ‘Dhokha – Round D Corner’ will release on 23 September. It is a suspense thriller film. T-Series is producing this film .

Madhavan, Aparshakti Khurana, Darshan Kumar and Khushali Kumar will be seen in the film. Bhushan Kumar’s sister Khushali Kumar is going to make her Bollywood debut with this. The film is directed by Kuki Gulati.
