Mahesh Babu says never act in Hindi films also not interested to watch bollywood movies

Telugu actor Mahesh Babu has said, "I will never act in Hindi films and also not interested to watch"

Telugu actor Mahesh Babu has said, “I will never act in Hindi films because Bollywood cannot pay me a decent salary.”

Once upon a time, Hindi films made in Bollywood were dubbed and released in various languages across the country. But over the last few years, South Indian language films, including Telugu and Kannada, have been released all over India and become huge hits.

Many films from Baahubali to KGF2 have been released as Pan India films and have amassed a huge collection. The Bollywood film industry itself is said to be somewhat dissatisfied with South India due to this sudden trending change.

For example, many Hindi actors have been criticizing South Indian films. As a result, it has become common for North Indian and South Indian fans to clash on social media.

Meanwhile, the trailer release ceremony of Telugu lead actor Mahesh Babu’s next film ‘Major’ was held in Hyderabad yesterday. Here is what Mahesh Babu said:

The growth of Telugu cinema has really amazed me. As Telugu films have been released across the country to great acclaim, one of the words (once implicitly referring to Bollywood) that was once defined as Indian films is being worn today.

I firmly believe that my strength is acting in Telugu films. I have no desire to become a Pan India star. My wish is that the Telugu films I have acted in and other films should be enjoyed all over the country. Today it is being fulfilled.

I get a lot of opportunities to act in Hindi movies everyday. But I will never act in Hindi. Because Bollywood can not pay me a decent salary. So I do not want to waste my time acting in Hindi films. Thus spoke Maheshbabu.
