John Abraham ‘s much-awaited film ‘Ek Villain Returns’ was scheduled to hit the theaters on July 8. Now the makers have announced the new release date of the film.
The film will hit the audience on July 29. The movie cast is John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria and J. D. Chakravarthy.
The film is directed by Mohit Suri, who also directed the original film. Director Mohit has informed the fans about the new release date of the film on social media .

Mohit has unveiled the release date of the film by sharing a poster on Twitter.
He wrote in his Twitter post, ‘The film ‘Ek Villain Returns’ has got a new release date of July 29, 2022.
Also, he has tagged the lead actors of the film in his post. Apart from John, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani are going to appear in the lead roles in this film.
John and Arjun will be seen in the roles of villains
The special thing is that in this film, John and Arjun will be facing the audience in the roles of villains. John is working with director Mohit for the first time.
At the same time, Arjun has earlier worked with Mohit in his film ‘Half Girlfriend’. Disha was recently seen in the lead role in Mohit’s film ‘Malang’.
The film is being produced under the banners of T-Series and Balaji Telefilms.
These films will clash with ‘Ek Villain Returns’
Ek Villain Returns will clash with Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Thank God’ at the box office. ‘Thank God’ is also scheduled to hit theaters on July 29.
Both are Bollywood commercial films, so there is a possibility of a tremendous clash.
Apart from this, South Indian actor Kicha Sudeep’s film ‘Vikrant Rona’ will hit the silver screen on July 28. Jacqueline Fernandez will also be seen in it.

‘Ek Villain Returns’ is a sequel to ‘Ek Villain’. Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor were seen in pivotal roles in 2014’s ‘Ek Villain’.
In the film, Ritesh played the role of a psycho serial killer. The performance of all the stars was well liked by the audience.
The film was produced on a budget of only Rs 39 crore, while it earned Rs 169 crore at the box office.
Mohit Suri started his career as an assistant director. After this he has directed funny films like ‘Aashiqui 2’, ‘Murder’ and ‘Kalyug’. He made his directorial debut with the 2005 film ‘Zeher’.
