Rhea Chakraborty used to give drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput NCB Says

According to the sources in the chargesheet, NCB has alleged that Riya Chakraborty used to receive drugs for Sushant and the same used to give drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput.

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday filed a chargesheet in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, in which it has made serious allegations against Rhea Chakraborty. NCB has accused Rhea Chakraborty of supplying drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to the sources in the chargesheet, NCB has alleged that Riya Chakraborty used to receive drugs for Sushant and the same used to give drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput.

On 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra apartment.

Describing his death as a suicide, Mumbai Police spokesperson and Deputy Commissioner of Police Pranay Ashok said at the time, “It is a case of suicide. Police is probing the matter. However, no suicide note has been found yet.”

Riya Chakraborty was arrested on 8 September 2020 under abetment of suicide and several other sections of the Indian Penal Code. However, later on 7 October 2020, the Bombay High Court granted him bail.

In the draft filed by the NCB on Wednesday, it has been alleged that Riya took delivery of marijuana from several other accused including her younger brother Sauvik. This delivery happened several times and it was the same person who gave drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to the agency’s charge sheet, “Riya Chakraborty took delivery of drugs several times from Samuel Miranda, Sauvik Chakraborty, Dipesh Sawant and many others and handed it over to Sushant Singh Rajput.”

It is also alleged in the draft that Riya also paid for these deliveries of marijuana from March 2020 to September 2020.

On July 28, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K.K. Singh had lodged an FIR against Riya Chakraborty at the Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna. He had registered a case under sections 341, 342, 380, 406, 420 and 306 of the IPC.

All these sections are related to theft, cheating, abetment to suicide etc.

On 7 August, the CBI had registered an FIR against Riya and her younger brother Sauvik and four other people.

In this FIR, the sections of the FIR registered in Patna were similar but two more sections were added. 120-B and section 506 were also added to the CBI’s FIR.
