Kolkata: Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, is one of the most versatile singers in Indian cinema.
He has sung songs in many languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali.
KK, a 53-year-old singer from Kerala, has sung over 50 songs in Tamil cinema. She has sung for over 3,500 commercials before making her screen debut.
KK made his Tamil debut with the song “Strawberry Dear” from the 1997 film Electric Dream, composed by AR Rahman. He would have sung that song along with Babymani.
He has also sung in Tamil with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Deva, Vidyasagar, Mani Sharma and Harris Jayaraj.

Meanwhile, KK sang songs in the presence of fans at a concert held yesterday in the Nasrul Manja area of Kolkata.
He was greeted enthusiastically by the fans. He fainted after the concert and was taken to a nearby private hospital. Doctors who examined him said he had died of a heart attack.
