New Delhi: An earthquake shook the Leh region of Jammu and Kashmir today. The earthquake was reported at 7.29 am today.
The quake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, was 186 km north of Leh in Jammu and Kashmir, according to the national geological survey of india.
The national geological survey of india said on Twitter: “An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck at 7.29 am in Jammu and Kashmir. It is located 186 km north of Alchi village in Leh district of Ladakh.
No casualties were reported from the quake. Similarly, no official information has been released about the material damage.
