Tamil Nadu has not reduced the price

Responding to the Centre’s appeal, Tamil Nadu Finance Minister PTR Palanivel had said the Centre’s cut is partial and asking states to cut tax is unfair.

He had said that the Center had not sought advice from the states while raising oil prices and his state was already facing economic losses due to the reduction in prices by the Centre. In such a situation, the state government will not reduce the prices further.
