New Delhi: According to the Central Health Department, more than 180 crore people in India have been vaccinated against coronavirus so far.
The process of administering corona vaccines in the country started on January 16 last year. Of these, vaccinations were given to frontline staff and health workers. Thereafter, the vaccination drive for all 18-year-olds across the country was intensified from June last year.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted “If children are safe then the country is safe! I am happy to inform that from March 16, Covid-19 vaccination of children in the age group of 12, 13 and 14 starting. Also, everyone aged 60+ will now be able to get precaution doses. I urge the families of children and people in the age group of 60 and above that they must get the vaccine.”
