Covid Situation PM Modi will hold virtual meeting with Chief Ministers on Wednesday

In the last 24 hours, more than 102 people have been found to be Covid-19 positive across Mumbai. There was no death due to corona in the city in this one day.

Mumbai Covid-19: The city’s civic department on Tuesday said that more than 102 people have tested positive for COVID-19 across Mumbai in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of infections in the city has increased to 10,59,433. The death toll due to the disease stood at 19,562. This means that there was no death due to corona in the last 24 hours.

The important thing here is that after 27 February 2022, this is the highest number of new cases coming in a day. Then there were 103 cases of Covid-19.

After this, except on March 2, new cases of corona were reported in the city in double digits. On March 2, 100 new cases of corona were reported.

Notably, the daily Covid-19 cases in Mumbai more than doubled in the last two days. On Sunday, 45 cases were reported in the city.

Apart from this, 153 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours across the state of Maharashtra. During this, 135 people recovered. Along with this, four people also died in the entire state. The number of active cases in the state is 943.

PM Modi will talk to Chief Ministers

Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also interact with the Chief Ministers of all the states on Wednesday. PTI quoted official sources as saying,”Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Chief Ministers through video conference tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12 noon on the situation related to Covid-19 in the country.”

Let us inform that on Tuesday, 2,483 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the country in a single day. With this, the total number of people who have been infected with the corona virus in the country so far increased to 4,30,62,569. At the same time, the number of patients undergoing treatment has come down to 15,636.

According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, 1399 cases of death due to infection were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. Of these, 1,347 cases were reported after matching the cases of death due to infection in Assam and 47 cases of death in Kerala, apart from four deaths due to infection in Punjab and one in Delhi. After the new cases, the total death toll due to infection in the country has increased to 5,23,622.
