Devendra Fadnavis is expected to take over as chief minister at 7 pm today

Maharashtra New CM: Devendra Fadnavis may take oath as Chief Minister and Eknath Shinde as Deputy Chief Minister at 7 pm, according to reports.

Mumbai: The work of forming a new government in Maharashtra has intensified. The BJP and Eknath Shinde’s team is preparing to form the government in the state. It is said that Devendra Fadnavis will be sworn in as the Chief Minister at around 7 pm tonight, and Eknath Shinde will also be sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister.

Eknath Shinde is said to be carrying letters of support from 49 MLAs. Also, it seems that Devendra Fadnavis will go to Raj Bhavan and present the letter to Governor Bhagatsingh Koshyar to form the government.

According to our information, Shinde has arrived in Mumbai with a letter of support. As Eknath Shinde has returned from Goa to Mumbai, he has been given Z category for his safety.

Earlier, Devendra Fadnavis may take oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister on July 1. A BJP executive committee meeting is being held today at Fadnavis’ residence Sagar Bungalow in Mumbai.

Many senior leaders of Maharashtra BJP will participate in this. Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil said that Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde will decide on the next course of action in the consultation meeting.

According to reports, 13 ministerial positions may be given to the Eknath Shinde party on the BJP side. Out of which 8 may be Cabinet Ministers and 5 may be State Ministers. It is also said that Eknath Shinde may become the Deputy Chief Minister. However, no official information has come yet.

Even though the BJP emerged as the number one party in the Maharashtra assembly elections, it was unable to form a government and Devendra Fadnavis could not become the Chief Minister. The reason for this is that the path of BJP-Shiv Sena parties, which formed an alliance together and contested the elections, diverged.

Exactly three years later, the cycle of time changed. Uddhav Thackeray was defeated by his own party. In Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray’s chief ministership slips away. No one could save.

The reason for this is Eknath Shinde, and although many media outlets claim that he is the hero behind this transformation, Devendra Fadnavis wrote the actual screenplay for this story.
