According to the state government, three LPG cylinders will be provided free of cost to the ration card holder every year.

Free gas cylinder will be provided to ration card holders

According to the information released by the Pushkar Singh Dhami government, ration card holders will be given three LPG cylinders free of charge every year. He said that although this will increase the financial burden on the government, it will benefit the common man.

Along with this notification, it also contains some terms and conditions which must be followed. Only after that you can get free cylinders. Let’s see what they are.

Who will benefit from this scheme?

To avail the free three gas cylinders from the government, it is mandatory to fulfill certain conditions. Accordingly the beneficiary should be a resident of Uttarakhand state and it is mandatory for Antyodaya ration card holders to link with case linkage card.

Similarly if you also want to avail this scheme then link your Antyodaya card in this month i.e. July. If the two are not linked, you will be deprived of the government’s free gas cylinder scheme.

Under this, district-wise list of Antyodaya consumers has also been sent to local gas agencies and ration cardholders of Antyodaya cardholders have been asked to link the gas link.

It is to be noted that after this decision of Uttarakhand government, around 2 lakh Antyodaya card holders from that state will get huge benefit while the government will have to bear a total burden of Rs 55 crore through this scheme.
