Since the spread of corona around the world, many companies have introduced the ‘work from home’ feature that works from home. Subsequently, the use of video conferencing software to meet office workers began to increase. The most popular of them are Google Meat and Zoom.
Google has released a new update to its Google Meet video conferencing site.
In-Meeting Reactions
New Reactions feature has been introduced in Google Meet. This allows us to react to emojis when someone is talking in the video. We can reflect our thoughts through emojis like Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, Laughter, Surprise, Applause.
PiP Mode
Google Meet has also introduced a feature called Picture in Picture. This way we can see other work in the browser as we talked in the video. We can also see how the audience expresses emotion to our speech.
Meet in Docs, Sheets and Slides
Google has announced that the Google Meet feature will no longer be available directly on Docs, Sheets and Slides. This way we can start the meeting while looking at the documents.
Google say it could similarly conduct quizzes and polls at the meet. It also has the facility to stream Google Recovery on YouTube.
