Govt of India Issued to 81 Chinese Nationals ‘Leave India’ Notice

Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said that the Central Government has sent notices to 81 Chinese nationals to leave the country.

New Delhi: Giving an explanation in this regard in the Lok Sabha, he said that a list of 726 people from China has been prepared on the basis of reasons such as overstaying their visas and engaging in illegal activities.

Nityanand Rai informed that 117 of them have already left the country and said that notices have been sent to 81 people to leave the country.

Nityanand Rai informed that the documents regarding the foreigners coming to India are properly maintained and mentioned that some of them stay here even after the visa period due to ignorance and due to medical emergencies.

Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai mentioned that those who stay beyond the visa period with ulterior motives or unjustified reasons are identified and action is taken against them under the Aliens Act, 1946. He said that notices to leave the country and fines would be followed against such persons.
