Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a major announcement regarding the census in the country.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a major announcement regarding the census in the country. He said in Assam that the next electronic census would be conducted so that accurate data could be collected.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that next time a nationwide electronic census will be conducted, which will be absolutely accurate and provide the basis for the country’s development plans for the next 25 years.

100% accurate data

The Union Home Minister said that as the census process in the country is being digitized, 100 per cent accurate census can be expected during the next census.

‘The next census will be conducted on a computerized basis. With this, 100 per cent accurate calculations will be made and based on that, the country’s development plans for the next 25 years will be divided.

He said the census was important in many ways and it was very important for a state like Assam which was very important in terms of population. He said the census process was delayed due to the Govt-19 epidemic.

Amit Shah opens census building in Amingan, Assam. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and Union Home Secretary Ajay Balla were also present on the occasion.
