Earlier Cyber hackers hacked the Twitter handle of the Indian Meteorological Department late Saturday evening. Hackers put an advertisement of a business company there. The department is yet to restore its Twitter handle.
Meteorological Department’s Twitter handle hacked Director General of the Indian Meteorological Department Mrityunjay Mohapatra said, ‘Our Twitter account has been hacked. We are trying to restore it.
Nearly 11.53 pm on Saturday IMD has restored “Official Twitter Account (@Indiametdept) of India Meteorological Department was hacked in the evening today, the 09/04/2022. It has now been restored.”

Hacker put advertisement of business company
After hacking the account of the department, the hacker initially put an advertisement of a business company on it. After that many people have been tagged repeatedly without posting any message. Whose act is this and what is its purpose? It hasn’t been cleared yet.
The account of CM Yogi’s office was also hacked
Let us inform that cyber hackers also hacked the Twitter account of UP CM office on Friday night. Along with changing the DP and background picture of the CMO’s handle, the hacker also tagged hundreds of users and made many tweets.
According to the information, this account of CMO was hacked around 12.30 pm, which could be restored after about 40 minutes. An FIR has been registered in this matter in the cyber police station. Cyber team of DGP office will investigate the whole matter.
