The date of the next Auto Expo 2023, the largest auto show in the country, has been announced. That is, it has been announced that the exhibition will take place from January 13th to 18th next year.
It is noteworthy that earlier this year the exhibition was canceled due to the Corona epidemic.
Finally, the Auto Expo was held in February 2020, at a time when there was a threat of a corona virus spread around the world.
This year, the exhibition was scheduled to be held in February in the Greater Noida area. But, with Corona in mind, the exhibition was canceled.
Rajesh Menon, Director, Society of Auto Mobile Manufacturers (SIAM), said, “The auto show is scheduled to run from January 13 to 18, 2023.
Dedicated to the press conference on January 11th. The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be held on January 12. The day will be attended by media personnel, special guests and dealers, ”he said.
The Auto Expo is scheduled to be held in Greater Noida, while the Auto Components exhibition will be held at the Pragati Maidan Complex.
Earlier, in a statement issued by Rajesh Menon in August last year, he said, “The chances of a corona infection spreading are high at an event such as a business-to-consumer auto show.
In a context where large crowds will visit the exhibition, it will be difficult to maintain a social space at the event, ”he said.
He added, “It has been decided to postpone the motor show because of the Corona epidemic. In the current context, the safety of the exhibitors, spectators and industry at the exhibition is the number one priority of our Manufacturers Association. ”
Earlier, the exhibition, which was held in 2020, was attended by 6 lakh visitors. Considered to be the largest in the country, the exhibition showcased 70 types of products.
352 types of products from 108 industries were on display at the exhibition.
Now that the number of corona infections across the country has largely come under control, plans are afoot to hold the exhibition again.
