In the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Gujarat Titans (GT) spinner Rashid Khan has completed 100 wickets of his IPL career.
He has jointly become the lowest number of spin bowlers to reach this figure in league history. Venkatesh Iyer became his 100th victim.

Rashid touched the 100-wicket mark in the 83rd match of his IPL career and he (along with Ashish Nehra and Amit Mishra) became the joint third-lowest bowler to achieve the feat.
Let us tell you that Lasith Malinga is the fastest bowler to get 100 wickets, who completed this figure in just 70 matches. He is followed by Bhuvneshwar (81) in this list.
Rashid becomes joint fastest spinner with 100 IPL wickets
Rashid has become the joint spin bowler to take 100 wickets in the lowest number of matches. He is equal to Amit Mishra, who scored a century of wickets in 83 matches.
Rashid has become only the fourth foreign player to take 100 wickets in the IPL. The foreign players who touched this figure before him are Dwayne Bravo, Lasith Malinga and Sunil Narine.
He has become the 17th bowler to take 100 wickets in IPL.

In IPL 2022, Rashid has so far taken eight wickets in seven matches at an average of 22.75 and an economy rate of 6.50. Meanwhile, his best performance has been taking three wickets for 22 runs.
