New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi hosted some programs on the occasion of Ram Navami.
In this situation, there was a sudden clash between the two groups at the university. They then attacked each other. Many people were injured in the incident.
Police rushed to the spot. The injured were taken to an ambulance for treatment. Police are monitoring the situation there.
Sarika, a former president of the University Student Union and a PhD student, said: There was a conflict between the two groups over eating non-vegetarian food.
They have been attacking each other since then. Between 50 and 60 people were injured in the incident.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad ABVP protested against non-vegetarian food and sought a ban. Other students protested. He said up to 60 people were injured in the clash.
Speaking on the occasion, Rohit Kumar, President, All India Vishwa Parishad, Jawaharlal Nehru University, said that the Left and NSUI Organizers were involved in the riot.
In this, there is no issue of non-vegetarian food. He has said that there is something wrong with them in hosting the event which was organized on the eve of Rama Navami.
The ABVP protested against the non-vegetarian diet and sought to ban it. Other students protested. He said many people were injured in the clash.
