As a precautionary measure, Ferrero withdrew its product and launched an investigation. The recalled product was manufactured in the same factory. Ferrero, the production company of Kinder Joy, has announced the recall of its product. The company has said it will recall some volumes of the Kinder Surprise product because of the potential for Salmonella infection. Out of the 20 gram packets of Kinder Surprise, only the packets mentioned as Best Before 11 July 2022 and Best Before 7 October 2022) will be withdrawn, the company said.
