Pimpri, Pune: A letter has caused quite a stir in Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate. The fake letter claims that Rs 200 crore was collected from the then Pimpri Chinchwad Commissioner Krishnaprakash (IPS Krishna Prakash) through land transaction.
The names sent to the Chief Minister in the name of Ashok Dongre, a reader and assistant police inspector working in the social security team during Krishnaprakash’s tenure, have gone viral on social media. According to the alleged letter, Dongre claimed that his life was in danger and that he had to collect money for Krishnaprakash’s land transaction.
The amount is claimed to be Rs 200 crore in the alleged fake letter. Not only that, many journalists have been accused of being paid by Krishnaprakash. In return, Krishnaprakash’s image was being promoted by a journalist, the viral letter said.
Krishnaprakash’s appreciation supplement was taken out in the newspaper on the occasion of his birthday. It is claimed in the letter that the money was given by someone else. The alleged fake letter, however, has caused a stir in the city.
