Mumbai: The results of Maharashtra Legislative Council Election 2022 have been declared. In the elections held on 10 seats, five five seats have come in the account of BJP and Maha Vikas Aghadi.
The results of all the 10 seats of the Maharashtra Legislative Council are out. Five seats are occupied by BJP, while out of the remaining five seats, Shiv Sena and NCP have won two seats.
Congress had to be content with just one seat. After the results, senior Congress leaders say that some MLAs have betrayed.

Praveen Darekar, Ram Shinde, Shrikant Bhartiya, Uma Khapre and Prasad Lad have won from BJP. Mahavikas Aghadi had fielded a total of 6 candidates. 2 from Shiv Sena, 2 from NCP and 2 from Congress.

The victory of five candidates was sure from the side of MVA. But the contest for the 10th candidate was interesting. BJP candidate Prasad Lad defeated Congress candidate.
