Prior to the 2022 XL6 MPV, the upgraded Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV was recently launched in the Indian market. The new Ertiga MPV has undergone a lot of changes compared to the old model, despite having the real quality mantras for success that are cheaper, more spacious and less expensive to operate. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Exterior design changes
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV has been given a new front grille. Also given are new machine-cut alloy wheels. You can also see the chrome highlights on the tailgate. While the old model comes with Pearl Arctic White, Magma Gray, Auburn Red and Prime Oxford Blue color choices, the Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown are two new color choices.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Interior design changes
Although the cabin design of the new model is similar to the cabin design of the old model, some changes have been made. It’s got a new dual – tone upholstery. As well as the dashboard and steering wheel, the teak wood has metallic decorative workmanship. These show the cabin of this MPV at a premium. Pedal shifters are also currently offered in the automatic variants of the Ertiga.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Powertrain
Underneath the bonnet of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MP is a 1.5-liter, naturally aspirated, inline-4 petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing a maximum of 103 PS of power and 136.8 Nm of torque. CNG selection is also available with this engine. In the CNG test, this engine will only deliver a maximum of 87.8 PS of power and 121.5 Nm of torque.
For the petrol model, 5-speed manual and 6-speed Dark Converter automatic gearbox options are offered. Of these, the 6-speed Dark Converter automatic gearbox selection is the newest. The Ertiga S-CNG, on the other hand, is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox option.
In the 2022 Ertiga MPV, Maruti Suzuki has added cruise control, automatic headlamps with follow me home function, and Suzuki Connect (connected car technology). The S-CNG variants, meanwhile, have a dedicated speedometer for CNG. Also 4 airbags are offered in the top variants of this MPV. An electronic stability program with Hill-Hold Assist is also provided. As well as the features of the old model have been brought to the new model.
The petrol variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV start at Rs 8.35 lakh. At the same time, the top petrol variant is priced at Rs 12.79 lakh. On the other hand, the S-CNG variants of the MPV have a starting price of Rs 10.44 lakh.
The top S-CNG variant is priced at Rs 11.54 lakh. In addition, the ‘Tour M’ petrol variant of the Ertica for commercial use is priced at Rs 9.46 lakh and the CNG variant is priced at Rs 10.41 lakh. These are ex-showroom prices.
