Meerut Three friends murdered LLB student, linked to homosexuality and blackmailing

There is also talk of blackmailing the accused through some pictures and videos of Yash.

In Meerut , Uttar Pradesh, a sensational case of killing a student of three friends studying LLB and dumping his dead body in a sack has come to light.

Homosexuality angle has come to the fore in the murder and the accused have claimed to have a homosexual relationship with the deceased Yash Rastogi.

There is also talk of blackmailing the accused through some pictures and videos of Yash.

Yash was missing since June 26

According to media reports, 21-year-old Yash, a resident of Jagriti Vihar Sector-6, had left his house on the evening of June 26 with a scooty and did not return home since then.

When he did not return home for several nights, his family members lodged a police report. Police tried to trace Yash by scanning the footage of hundreds of CCTV cameras.

His last Lokesh was found in Lisadigate area through mobile.

Accused detained on the basis of last location

Based on Yash’s last location, police detained three of his friends Chavez, Ali and Salman. At first, he denied having any information about Yash, but on strict action, confessed his crime.

Following his confession, the police retrieved Yash’s mutilated body from a drain located at Lisadigate late on Saturday night. The body was sealed in a sack.

The accused said that he had a homosexual relationship with Yash

According to Dainik Bhaskar ‘s report, Chavez told the police that he and Yash had a homosexual relationship and suspected that Yash had made an obscene video of him.

They called Yash to Lisadigate, but when he refused to show his phone to the accused, they killed him by slitting his throat.

It has also been said in the report that Yash’s body was cut into several pieces, locked in a sack and then thrown in the drain.

Yash had collected Rs 40,000 by blackmailing – SP

According to India Today , Meerut Superintendent of Police (SP) Vineet Bhatnagar said, “The three arrested accused have admitted to having an unnatural relationship with the deceased Yash. Yash has blackmailed him through some objectionable pictures.” 40,000 rupees from them and was again demanding money from the accused, after which they killed Yash and threw the body in the drain.

Demand of the relatives to impose NSA on the accused

Yash’s family and friends have demanded action against the accused under the National Security Act (NSA) . He has also asked to run a bulldozer at the house of the accused. Police have registered a case under section 364 in the matter.
