Also, on August 4, heavy rain may occur at some places in Nilgiri districts of Coimbatore and regarding the warning for fishermen, strong winds will blow in the Kumari sea area at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, so fishermen are advised not to go to the Kumari sea areas for the next two days.

Chennai and its suburbs are likely to receive light to moderate rains in some parts of the city and in terms of South West Monsoon rains, Tamil Nadu and Puduwai recorded 242 mm of rainfall during the period from June 1 to today. He said. He said that in the past three years in Tamil Nadu, the Southwest Monsoon rains have been more than normal and this year too, it has rained more than the average for three years.

He also said that the radar equipment of the Meteorological Center in Chennai Port has been out of order for a long time and the renovation work will start from tomorrow.
