Mumbai: Section 144 has been implemented in Mumbai City on today Saturday amid the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra State. This will remain in force till july 10. In the act of Section 144 being in force, there will be a ban on the gathering more than 5 people at one place.
It is being said that this decision has been taken in view of the possibility of sabotage, violence etc. After two sabotage in Shiv Sena, meanwhile the security of the offices of MLAs and MPs has been increased. Mumbai police keep a close watch on political gathering, poster ragging, sloganerring etc.
Section 144 is applicable in Pune too if BJP-Shiv Sena come together. Pune is the stronghold of Shiv Sena’s rebel MLA and veteran leader Eknath Shinde. The new order will be applicable in the district from June 30. Now no political activity and sloganeering will be allowed in the district.
Pune Shiv Sainiks have created a furore in Pune. Shiv Sainiks vandalized the office of Eknath Shinde faction MLA Tanaji Sawat in Pune. After the attack on the office, an atmosphere of panic is being seen there.
