Newly spread tomato fever in Kerala! 85 children affected

People in Kerala are shocked by the spread of a new type of virus called tomato fever.

Kerala: In Kerala, infections, including bird flu, are frequent and threaten people. Tomato fever is currently affecting more and more people there. It has been reported that children are more susceptible to this new type of virus. Children under the age of five suffering from tomato fever are being admitted to hospital.

According to the state health department, 85 children have been infected with the virus in Kollam district so far. Anganwadi centers are being closed in various parts of the state due to tomato fever. Children with these symptoms are admitted to public and private hospitals.

Following the spread of tomato fever, the health department has intensified surveillance in Ariyankavu, Anchal and Neduvathur areas. Authorities are raising awareness that people should not be afraid of the disease, but need to be vigilant.

The irritating and painful effect of red patches on the skin with fever is called tomato fever. But the strange thing is that tomatoes have nothing to do with this fever.
