No announcement has been made so far about the 11th tranche of the Prime Minister Kisan Summon Fund. The e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer, e-KYC) scheme is done by the government for eligible farmers.
In such a situation many farmers are confused as to whether the 11th installment will be delayed or the 11-12 installments will be available together. But now the Bihar government has issued a major update on e-KYC and 11th installment.
The 11th installment will not be affected
There are 85 lakh farmers in Bihar who are eligible for the Prime Minister Kisan Summon Fund. Of these, 36 lakh farmers have not yet done e-KYC. But the Bihar government has made it clear that if the e-KYC is not conducted now, there will be no problem in getting money to the farmers due to this. It is hoped that this will not affect the 11th installment even if farmers in other states do not do e-KYC.
The list of state governments was sent to the Ministry of Agriculture
Following the central government’s green signal in Bihar, a list of 83 lakh farmers has been sent to the agriculture ministry. A proposal to provide Rs 1647 crore has been sent here by the agriculture department. Earlier in January, the 10th installment was transferred to farmers’ accounts
May 31 is the last date to do e-KYC
In this case, if the agricultural beneficiaries do not complete the e-KYC process by March 31, 2022, they will not be able to get the 11th installment. So farmers need to complete the e-KYC process quickly.
