Rajya Sabha elections Congress Shifting MLAs from Haryana to Raipur, fear of horse-trading continues

Rajya Sabha elections are to be held on June 10 on a total of 57 seats in 15 states of the country. At present, 23 of these seats are with the BJP, eight seats with the Congress and the rest with the local parties.

The Congress has started barricading its MLAs in Haryana in view of the Rajya Sabha elections to be held for a total of 57 seats in 15 states in the country next week .

Under this, 27 MLAs have been sent from Delhi to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, on Wednesday.

Actually, Congress fears that BJP may horse-trade MLAs for the elections. In such a situation, this step has been taken to save the MLAs from this.

MLA left for Raipur from Delhi

Let us inform that on Wednesday, the Congress high command had called all its 31 MLAs in Haryana to Delhi on Thursday.

On this, 27 MLAs reached the residence of MP Deepender Singh Hooda in Delhi, but MLAs Kuldeep Bishnoi, Kiran Chaudhary and Chiranjeev Rao did not reach.

After this, except Hooda, all the 27 MLAs were sent to Delhi airport by Volvo bus and from there to Raipur by private plane.

All our 31 MLAs are united: Hooda

Before the MLAs left for the airport, Haryana Congress state in-charge Vivek Bansal and Hooda said, “All 31 Congress MLAs are united and when the election results will come on June 10, the Congress candidate will get 32 votes instead of 31, because BJP, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and independent MLAs are also in touch with him.”

“I want to ask the BJP to keep its Haryana MLAs safe ,” Hooda said .

MLAs will stay in resort spread over 110 acres in Raipur

Let the Congress MLAs be kept in a luxurious resort built of 110 acres in Raipur. Police force has been deployed around the resort for the safety of the MLAs. The entry of general public has also been banned in the resort.

Not horse-trading, going to Raipur for security- MLA

Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma said that Congress MLAs are not going to Raipur for fear of horse-trading by BJP. In view of the manner in which Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala has been murdered, the MLAs are going to a safe place due to their safety.

He said that full care of the MLAs would be taken in Raipur. During this, all the MLAs will also visit the temple of Kaushalya Devi. Legislators will be allowed to keep mobile phones.

Karthikeya Sharma’s filing of nomination turned interesting contest

Let us inform that in the elections being held for the two Rajya Sabha seats of Haryana, BJP has nominated Krishanlal Panwar, while Congress has given ticket to Ajay Maken.

Meanwhile, the contest has turned interesting with Kartikeya Sharma filing his nomination as an independent candidate.

In Haryana, 30 votes are needed to win the Rajya Sabha and the Congress has 31 MLAs. Meanwhile, the Congress is facing the fear of cross voting.

Why is the fear of cross voting haunting the Congress?

Let us tell you that Kartikeya Sharma is the son of former Union Minister Vinod Sharma and Congress MLA Kuldeep Sharma is the son-in-law. Kuldeep Sharma has sought the support of MLAs for his son-in-law. In such a situation, the concern of Congress has increased.

Similarly, Kartikeya has claimed support from 10 JJP MLAs in Haryana.

Apart from this, he is likely to get the support of many independent MLAs along with the BJP. In such a situation, the Congress barricaded the MLAs.

Of these 57 seats, 11 are in Uttar Pradesh, six each in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, five in Bihar, four each in Karnataka, Rajasthan and Andhra, three each in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, Punjab, Jharkhand, Haryana, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Two each and one seat of Uttarakhand is included.
