A grand public meeting was held at the Luzhniki Stadium to mark the eighth anniversary of Russia’s annexation of Crimea by Ukraine. Speaking on the occasion, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Russian soldiers who have participated in the war in Ukraine. Russian patriotic songs were played at the meeting, which was attended by more than two lakh people.
