Hemant Chapude, Junnar: An unfortunate incident took place when a tourist boat sank in Tarkarli, Malvan. (Boat Accident) Two tourists drowned and both are in critical condition. There were a total of 20 tourists in the boat. Fortunately, 16 tourists were rescued safely.
Among the dead was Dr. Swapnil Maruti Pise, a renowned orthopedic surgeon from Alephata in Junnar taluka, who died in the accident. Dr. Swapnil Pise had gone with his family to Tarkarli in Malvan for tourism. The boat was carrying 20 people off the coast of Tarkarli on Tuesday morning for scuba diving.
Scuba diving also went well. On the way back, however, the boat capsized and capsized a short distance off the coast. After the boat capsized, relief work began to save the tourists. Until all of this is taken out of the sea, Dr. Swapnil Pise died. Dr. Swapnil Pise’s family is undergoing treatment at a rural hospital in Malvan.

A doctor of calm, agreeable nature, Dr. Swapnil Pise was running a hospital at Alephata on the Pune-Nashik highway. He was known in the area for his calm and sociable nature. Their sudden departure is being hailed. Dr. Swapnil Pise is survived by his wife and a daughter.
