Srinagar: Opposition parties and the public continue to struggle, claiming that the wrong decisions taken by the Rajapaksa family in Sri Lanka are the cause of the severe economic crisis.
The struggle for the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa intensified day by day. As a result, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa resigned from his post yesterday and left his home for safety.
Meanwhile, the struggle intensified as supporters of Mahinda Rajapaksa attacked protesters. Protesters across the country resorted to violence and set fire to the homes of ruling party leaders. Thus a tense situation persists.
Commenting on the situation in Sri Lanka, former Kashmir Chief Minister and People’s Democratic Party leader Mehbooba Mufti said it was a wake-up call for India.

“We need to be vigilant and vigilant about what is happening in Sri Lanka now. Communal hysteria has been on the rise in India since 2014. Like Sri Lanka, it is on the path of radical nationalism and religious majority.
All of this will undermine social cohesion and economic security, ”Mufti warned.
