A group created by a WhatsApp group to unite on the Cuddalore silver beach over the death of a female student - ban on going to the beach

Violence broke out in the protest held yesterday regarding the mysterious death of a Plus 2 student in Kallakurichi. The protestors set fire to school and police vehicles.

55 policemen were injured in the stone pelting attack. In this case, the police are engaged in security operations as the tense situation continues throughout the area.

In this case, the police have registered a case regarding the incident and have set up special forces to search for those involved in the riots. Initially, 128 people including 20 minors were arrested.

After that, all 128 arrested persons were produced in the Kallakurichi court. Out of which, 20 minors were ordered to be confined in Senji Gornokku Home.

The remaining 108 have been remanded in judicial custody till August 1. All 108 people were lodged in Trichy Central Jail after the corona test.

In this situation, it was revealed that they were planning to join the protest through WhatsApp group to demand justice for the student and unite at Cuddalore silver beach. In the investigation related to it, the police arrested a boy named Vijay from a private college in Cuddalore.

Cuddalore police have also arrested Dinesh Karthik, a member of Cuddalore, in connection with the Kallakurichi violence. Following this, students and youths have been banned from going to the Cuddalore Silver Beach and a large number of police have been deployed for security.

Similarly, a large number of policemen have been deployed at the entrance gate of Periyar Arts College, which is located along the coast. Police are conducting strict traffic checks on the roads leading to the beach.

Similarly, after receiving information that some people are going to protest in the village of Veypur next to the student’s hometown, Periyanesalur, a large number of policemen have set up barricades on the roads leading to her home.
